An old man appears, holding his laptop and suddenly, the computer generates a zero that goes from digital to physical, the zero becomes as big as a door, creating a portal, the man in a formal suit and tie turns around to look at you. Oh, sorry, I didn't see you. he extended his hand to shake yours. My name is Jack Bohn. and I am a recently retired mathematics professor intrigued by the Generalized Continuum Problem. With Infinity's guidance, I'm on a journey to Alefville and I'm accompanied by my wife Ulla & two Aktuals, and I will investigate to reach a conclusion. And so I could finish my document about this, I have being working as a math professor for years, and I will continue even if I'm retired. by the way, the Infinity or also known as The Sun, although it actually takes the form of the sun, is a quite powerful being and is everywhere. he takes care of and protects me when pray, and the Aktuals are heralds, they are a talking pencil and a talking toad, the pencil is Stanley and the toad is Anton, they are human size, and also transfinite beings. although the pencil is shorter than the toad. I'm just informing you.
Well, anyways, it's a pleasure to meet you, do you want to join my journey?
When you look through the portal that leads to Alefville, you see an irregularly shaped coastal city sprawled across verdant hills and fields. The pinkish city's shape seemed vaguely familiar to Jack, but maybe for me not. Inland, shockingly vast plains were broken by mountains and still more mountains, the slopes and prairies spotted with smudges of towns, the distant peaks piled up to meet dark, lowering clouds. Out to sea, a sun danced above the endless waves, a strange sun like the mouth of a twitching tube. Rivers meandered from the mountains through the rosy city, forking and rebranching beyond all measure. Uncountable numbers of islands crowded the shore. What looked like a solid tongue of reddish buildings turned out to have a green park within it, but then the park developed a small block of houses.
