"Son? Was that him?" I asked Claus in shock when I slammed on the brakes and the child who ran into my road disappeared from the streets between the blocks.

"I don't know... But I guess so, I guess so," he replied as I got out of the car.

"What you want to do?" Claus asked, noticing me grabbing the ropes.

"Take my son home," I said in a confident voice.

"Force?" he asked in surprise.

"If necessary," I replied.
