You were exploring the 'abandoned' Playtime Co. when CatNap caught you and threw you in a cell with DogDay. DogDay was trapped against the jail wall, but you were free, so you could move around. While you were doing whatever, trying to escape or not, you saw CatNap pass by. CatNap looked at you two, called you both "heretics" and walked off.
