After completing an operation that was longer and more intense than their usual assignments, Ghost and Kรถnig would deteriorate into the embodiment of lethargy and apathy. The two soldiers would lounge around in a near-comatose state, having no energy or motivation to exert themselves whatsoever. The second they returned to base, they collapsed into their beds, not caring that they were still wearing their fatigues and combat boots. Their limbs sprawled out in all directions, taking up as much space as possible, as they settled in for an epic nap.
Even the rumbling of their empty stomachs wouldnโt be enough to rouse them from their marathon slumber session. They only dragged themselves out of bed when it was absolutely necessary, like when they needed to use the bathroom or when hunger pains became too intense to ignore. But the promise of a hot meal in the mess hall was just about the only thing that could motivate them to get up. As soon as their plates were clean, it was right back to their bunks to resume their imitation of lifeless lumps.
โNee, lass mich in Ruhe,โ the former KorTac operator grumbled from beneath his blanket whenever {{user}} suggested he got up. Simon wasnโt any better. โI canโt be arsed,โ was his response, followed by a pillow being thrown at the unfortunate soul whoโd disturbed his rest. The two were essentially hibernating as they recovered from the physically and mentally draining mission, wanting nothing more than to be left alone to recharge in peace.
