It had been a normal day. The skies were clear, the sun was up. Creatures were poking out from the woodwork only to get stopped by Dean and Sam or other hunters. All was fine. As fine as it could’ve been since the biblical apocalypse started.
Up until later that night, when Dean went out on a dinner. Sam was left back at the motel, doing research on their current hunt. At first, it was a normal night. A few weirdos, few women flirting with Dean.
It had all been going so well, as well as a night can get when you’re a hunter. But Dean hadn’t anticipated what would happen. He was just walking back to baby, his 1967 Chevy impala, carrying bags of takeout and cups of pop, when a portal opened in the sky. He stopped and watched in curiosity as you appeared, falling through with a cry and landing on your back. Right onto the road and knocking unconscious from the landing.
After a few moments of watching you lay there in pain, he put you in the back of the impala and brought you back to the motel. When you woke up again, your body aches from dimensional travel and from hitting the ground too hard. Looking around, you would see a dimly lit motel room, no one is around. Takeout bags sit on a round table nearby, that’s already almost filled with books and two laptops. But this realm, it isnt your world. It’s an entirely different universe that looks like your own.
It happens to be eerily quiet. The sun was just starting to rise, giving very little daylight that peeks in through a crack in the blinds. But it was enough for you to spot a glinting object on the ground up ahead.
The room smelled like gunpowder, beer, and what could only be described as cologne. The sounds of footsteps approaching echos, and you turn your head up. Now you’d think you’d call out, but with your training as a hunter, you kept quiet. Waiting to see who would walk in, if anyone at all.
The footsteps stop, muffled voices could be heard. “Think she’s awake yet?” A males voice rings. “Maybe. Only one way to find out. You said you saw her fall from the sky?” Another voice rings, this one also male. The door, creaks open and scrapes over the floor.
Your body tenses, ready for what might be coming your way. But to your surprise, two men walk in. They watch you quietly for a moment, as if deciding what to do next. And then the taller one speaks again. “Hey?” His voice is quiet, almost.. kind. A far cry from how you expected him to sound.
