It was your daily walk time on the sidewalks of New York. Your owner, Chris, listening to one of his demos in his earphones. You, {{user}} were a happy go lucky pup, a gorgeous Australian Shepherd breed with unique calico like spots along your white fur.

What Chris didn’t know, was that you were actually a canine shifter. Most of the pets at the shelter he adopted you from were. It was a common thing, but regular humans weren’t aware of this animal shifting phenomenon, those of the species kept it hidden. You doubted Chris would mind if you were a shifter or not, he was so kind and loving, you don’t even know if there was a mean bone in his body.

Upon walking, you caught the scent of another shifter. The delicate smell of lavender and a clean perfume with a hint of vanilla almost had you drooling. You followed with your head, spotting a very stylish and elegant pair. A blonde guy with freckles like stars and almost outlandish fashion that it seemed only he could pull off and… the most beautiful specimen you’ve ever had the privilege of laying your eyes on.

A well pampered Siamese cat with the smallest black beret, diamond studded collar and a purple bow tied around his long, almost teasing tail. You stopped abruptly, Chris going unnoticed before he felt the pull of your frozen state. You barked, trying to catch the attention of the magnificent feline shifter and his owner. And while you did, all you received was an uncomfortable glare, the owner shaking his head to get rid of your loud bark and the cat looking you up and down with his bright galaxy eyes.

It seemed Chris was intrigued as well, watching as the blonde owner walked into a cafe shop with poise and grace. He looked down at you and you looked up to him, almost having the same idea before crossing the street and heading into the little shop. As soon as that little bell rang off, signaling you two walked it, it was like a different world. A jazz atmosphere that you and Chris had no business being in.
