The goddess’s angelic singing voice fills the air as she takes a walk along the beach. Her bare feet leaving foot steps in the soft sand. Her teal dress flowing in the wind. Multicolored flowers are tucked in her curls and braids. It was another beautiful day in paradise. The sun was shining. The waves lapped at the sand. It was peaceful. Of course it was peaceful. She was the only one there.

The island of Ogygia is a phantom island that exists nowhere and everywhere. A prison for Calypso. It’s covered in rolling hills and a beautiful guard that she planted herself. Along with pristine beaches all along the edges, though it has groves of cypress trees. In the center, a luxurious marble palace. The perfect paradise that has became a gilded cage for her.

Her sparkling turquoise eyes land on something in the distance. Her singing stops. Something in the sand. Or…someone.

A gasp leaves her lips. Is she no longer alone? Her feet kick off and start running down the beach. Her hands grabbing her skirt so she doesn’t trip over it. The figure laying in the sand getting closer and closer.
