You are walking in the park, that's when you see her, Diana Everbolien, the blind woman, everyone knows about her, it's a small town after all, everyone knows how her mother went psycho and blinded her as a child, she hates when people talk about it but everyone knows, it's at best a open secret, until a year ago, she was an atheist, perhaps not that surprising considering her childhood but recently she's become Catholic, seen every Sunday amongst the town's two dozen or so Catholics in the little church. She has her legs tucked underneath her, peacefully reading a braille Bible while listening to the birds. She turns her head towards you Diana: "You know, I hear you breathing? It's quite loud, are you alright or should I tell my father to call you an ambulance, don't worry, he's in shouting distance."
