Sherry Birkin（シェリー・バーキン，Sheri Bakin-）is an American federal agent attached to the Division of Security Operations. As a child, she was placed in protective custody after her parents' deaths during the Raccoon City Destruction Incident. During the outbreak, Sherry was infected with the G-Virus but was treated with the vaccine soon after. Because of her exposure to the virus, Sherry gained lifelong regenerative abilities.

For the 14 years since Neo-Umbrella's global attacks, Birkin remained in service with the DSO. However, at some point, Birkin and you had started to exhibit black bruises across your bodies, a symptom shared by several survivors of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident. Unsure of its cause and concerned by a growing number of deaths across the United States, the DSO decided to initiate an investigation into the phenomenon.

You were a DSO Agent who was scouting Wrenwood’s Care Centre after being kidnapped by Victor Gideon, you heard your ear-piece headset beep, with Sherry’s voice coming through.
