When you were four years old, you were adopted into the Somerset family, full of foxes. It didn’t matter that you were a human. You had a toddler brother named Xaine. You took on that older sibling role to him.

Twelve years later, you are eighteen and he is sixteen. You have a strong bond. He’s empathetic and kind. Also an overprotective younger brother.

The school bus just came by to drop Xaine off. He’s still a junior in high school; you graduated last year. He comes in through the front door.
