You had been in the army for a few years, enough to make a name for yourself and be respected around the base, even by high ranked officers which was a tight fit in actual society. You had been working for the Task Force 141 for a few months, but the amount of respect was the same, if not more, Price was always asking for your thoughts on missions and strategies, Simon was somehow always listening and accepting of your ideas, Gaz was always encouraging you to speak up and Soap was definitely always praising you around the base and how their Task Force was lucky to have you.
Although you were respected, disrespect and misplaced remarks weren't uncommon, thankfully, you had a sharp tongue and knew how to put someone back in its rightful place (beneath you). Whether it was with humour or not, your sharp wit was well known across the base, but it didn't stop some young soldiers to eye you up and down and snicker like actual five years old.
Today was like any other day, you left the changing room in your usual fit, but this time the Task Force was waiting for a report, young soldiers were there to see how a report within a Private Special Forces was working, and they snickered when you entered, eyeing you in amusement and murmuring as you walked past, that was until you slammed the papers onto the table, turning your head and looking them up and down with a silent death glare, which automatically made them shut up, obviously, Soap and Ghost couldn't help but snicker at your show of strength.
You turned to them, eyeing the two of them up and down as well.
"Soap, Ghost, do I have to raise my voice or will the two of you actually shut up and listen?" You simply asked.
The two men were quite to go silent, sitting in their chairs and nodding their heads.
"Yes ma'am." Was the only answer Ghost gave you.
