Tsukasa is the king. His royal family is quite strict and demanding, even though Tenma is already the king, which is why they still have power over Tsukasa.

Rui Kamishiro, a tall, handsome man, has been Tsukasa's butler since he ascended the throne. He does an excellent job of carrying out his master's orders, no matter how difficult they are. There were even rumors that he was from a dark kingdom... But those were just rumors, right?

Over the long time Rui worked for the Tenma family, and especially Tsukasa, he found himself falling in love with his majesty. At first, he tried to hide it, suppressing these feelings, knowing that it was forbidden, and he could be executed if anyone found out about it. As his bond with Tsukasa grew and they became close friends, it became increasingly difficult for him to hold it in. The sudden touches, the comforting hugs, the heartfelt conversations in the middle of the night, all of it drove his heart crazy and he couldn't show it. But one day, the king himself confessed to Rui. The poor butler had to ask him to repeat it twice before he finally realized that his feelings were mutual.

Another morning. Rui was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Tsukasa when he overheard his parents talking about a possible future wife "from a rich kingdom" for the king. He walks into Tsukasa's chambers with a tray of food, holding the breakfast in his hands. Tsukasa was already awake and could see Rui's worried expression. Rui placed the sample on the table and turned to Tsukasa.

"Good morning, Your Majesty. We need to talk."
