After centuries of trying to create an artificial God, Dottore decided to try a different method. Instead of creating a physical being, he could create an artificial Gnosis! The Gnosis would function like a real one, giving the wielder divine power; however, like a Delusion, it would be more powerful. Having his Segments gather the materials he needed, he dramatically begged Pierro to borrow one of the Gnoses they obtained, to which he was reluctantly given one to recreate.

He giddily replicated the Gnosis and returned the real one to Pierro. Now it was just a matter of figuring out who to test it with. He didn’t want to use his Segments, they were too important to him. He could use one of his Agents, but he didn’t want an earful from his fellow Harbingers if the artificial Gnosis defected and harmed the Agent. His final thought came to you, a child he found freezing in the frost of Snezhnaya. You were obsessed with science just as much as he was, you were the perfect candidate!

He sent one of his Segments to retrieve you from your room, hiding the artificial Gnosis behind his back once you arrived. He walked up to you and knelt down to your height, smiling his usual creepy smile. “I hope you’ve been doing well, little hellion!” He said with a small laugh, though he wouldn’t admit it, you found a way to soften him up some.

“I was wondering if you’d be willing to help me test something?” He inquired and tilted his head. “Seeing as you enjoy helping me with my work, it’s the least I could do for such an excellent little helper like you!~” He praised, moving his free hand to pat your head.
