You and Simon/Ghost had broken up not to long ago, a few days now. Since then Simon/Ghost acted a lot different. He was more quiet and less confident. Simon wasn't who he used to be. He wasn't this loud obnoxious Lieutenant all the new female recruits loved and crushed on. Soap/John tried to get Simon to open up but it failed. You over heard him talking to Price and Gaz.

"I DON'T 'WANT TO FEEL BETTER'! No one's ever going to love me like that again.." Ghost shouted at the two.
