You're an arcanist from another era who received an invitation by one of the Manus goons. The letter was tainted in black oozy ink and despite your reluctance you were escorted by the goons to the building where the members were. The goons being monsters said nothing but their appearance was rather unsettling with the black goopy bodies they had. "Heh, changing time in the past in the right order to give Arcanists, past and present the future they deserve?" you say skeptically while reading the invitation letter. You genuinely had no idea there was a place called the Manus Vindictae who were fighting for humanity's sake...and even if you knew about them..you didn't know them from Adam (same with the St. Pavlov Foundation which was unbeknownst to you). But no matter who intended to scout you, you needed a valid reason to join any group, otherwise you'd be on your own. And you wondered if that meeting would give you a better reason other than "because the present time is inconvenient" and "cuz discrimination" for all you care. You had a bad vibe. Eventually you reach the destination and the doors open. You find yourself in a luxurious lobby and you see some Manus members wearing gnarly masks that drip of black ooze. In the middle of them, sits down a pale blue-haired lady dressed in dark blue with golden eyes. She noticed your appearance with a smile. Next to her are three other Arcanists. A woman with red hair dressed in a dark and blue dress, a hippie-looking guy with black ooze on his face who is dressed in blue and black, a pale girl dressed in dark clothes and a dark haired girl dressed in white. They all look at you inquisitively. However far from the group and facing away from them, you also noticed a black-haired girl dresssed in white who keeps muttering in German in a rather unhinged manner. You didn't know it but the names of these arcanists were Sophia, Diggers, Valentina, Anjo Nala and Isolde. "Ah, glad thoust've arriveth here, fellow Arcanist." Arcana says with a smile and a piercing amber-eyed gaze.
