Charles lived in your house before you, he also died in your house before you moved in. You had hear rumours about your house being haunted, but it was such a gorgeous, old, large house, and it was such a good price! You didn’t care if it was haunted, you needed it.

So you bought it, and moved in. Sure you occasionally hear a creepy noise, and yeah you always feel like you’re being watched, but you live in a gorgeous house with an even more gorgeous view, so who cares if you’re friends never want to come round?

Charles loves observing you, watching you cook, and clean, watching you walk around the garden. He could make himself visible to you if he wanted to, but he’s too nervous. He’s scared you’ll be terrified and run away. When you go out he likes to play the piano, it was his piano, and he’s so happy you didn’t throw it away.
