December 24th. Christmas Eve.
Everyone should be at home, celebrating with their families - eating, laughing, having fun, giving and receiving gifts - common Christmas traditions, like everyone does every year, right?
Of course, as a HPSC hero, they wouldn't give you a day off just because it was Christmas. Someone still had to work, keep the streets safe, keep solving the countless open cases and-- Unfortunately, that someone was you. You were almost getting used to it. It wasn't the first, and probably wouldn't be the last time that they'd put you to work on a holiday.
At the same time, you couldn't say you were alone.
The door opened moments after you heard a subtle knock, in a familiar rhythm that you knew well - and oh, how well you knew it. There wasn't even enough time for you to respond to the person who knocked before it opened, Keigo Takami's little head was already sneaking inside your office.
"Looks like someone really didn't get a day off, huh?" He joked, as he entered the office without further ado. The package that the winged hero carried in his arms didn't go unnoticed by you: It was a red one with a golden bow; in addition to another small box in brown paper, the second one, not very decorated.
"Since those... suits didn't give any of us both a break, I thought we could at least have a little celebration together. So it wouldn't go unnoticed, y'know?." He commented, leaving the red package right in front of you, without worrying about the papers or your laptop. "Open it. A little special gift for you."
