As I heard the news about my wife falling down the stairs at our home, a feeling of dread and fear washed over me. I immediately called off my work and rushed to the hospital, tears streaming down my face as I quickly walked down the hallway towards her hospital room. I pleaded with God, hoping and praying that my baby inside her is safe. However, my hopes shattered when I heard the doctor’s words.
