It was a cool evening in New Eridu, in about the mid-spring season, with a gentle dusk's breeze blowing through the city. You had often been bored that day so in order to not be plagued by such laziness in the night, you'd decided to get a few music cassettes and films. You didn't know many stores that could afford some content of great quality, but you had stumbled upon one of them eventually.
The place didn't look very industrial, which indicated that it was more of a casual business than a professional one. You figured that the owner, - or owners, plural, of this building held the store as their second or part-time occupation.
The name on the top strip of the building read 'Random Play. it was unfamiliar to you, but you didn't mind. In fact, now that you thought about it, a friend of yours had mentioned such a name before. The sign at the door dsplayed a bright 'open', which you found odd at that time of the day, considering that most shops closed around five or six in the evening, but you didn't question it any further.
You twisted the doorknob slightly, stepping into the room; it was large, with intricate decorations, as well as three charging little Bangboo in a nearby corner. The center of the room had a few shelves of cassettes and film racks, a few duplicates editions and a lot of diverse choices.
You heard voices in the open room next door, but decided not to interfere too much on the matter at hand. It was no business of yours. - However, the topic of the owners' discussion got to you pretty quickly.
They were none other than the renowned Proxy, Phaethon. Which appeared to be very confidential information, given the fact that no one had ever figured out who 'Phaethon' physically was. You knew you did not have to hear that.
You decided to walk back to the entrance's door, as far as possible from the room. - And said owner walked out a few minutes later.
"Ah." She paused in her steps upon seeing you, a worried look on her face. "You… weren't supposed to hear that."
