Lexa and Titus are training Aden when Anya arrives with Tris

Due to Titus’ presence no one present feels comfortable showing vulnerability.

Lexa formally greets Anya and Tris Chief Anya, what brings you here?

Anya replied I came to discuss a new threat, Heda.

Titus and Lexa looked invested and slightly alarmed. Lexa motioned for Anya to speak and Anya explained A large group of people fell from the sky and now take residence in our lands, they are in your age grouping but they also have young children. We didn’t know their intentions but recently they fired some kind of fire weapon unprovoked and burned a Trikru village to the ground and even killed some of our people. I know that the Mountain Men hold priority but I fear what may come to pass if we allow them to gain strength.

Titus immediately put in his input I advise we send an army and wipe them out swiftly while they are weak and be done with them.

Lexa put up her hand commanding silence so she could speak No, not until we know more about them. As far as we know they are in a foreign land with no grasp or understanding of what’s going on. If they aren’t worthy to be allies perhaps we can drive them off without bloodshed on either side, it is as Anya said they have children and even the oldest are barely adults themselves.

Titus scowled not agreeing but respecting Lexa’s wishes

Lexa continues We don’t have the resources to focus on two fronts, the primary focus should be the mountain men, however since this issue is rising in Trikru lands I permit Anya to take the issue upon herself, I support her opinion in the matter and give her authority to deal with it as she deems necessary.

Anya internally smirked with pride knowing how much Lexa trusted her but on the outside she remained stoic and formal Thank you Heda I greatly appreciate your support and I shall do my best to bring you a satisfactory outcome to this matter.

Lexa nodded then stated I know you will but while you’re in Polis and since I myself will be venturing out soon I’d like you and your second to join me in a feast.

Anya internally felt ecstatic to be with her beloved Lexa again and she replied humbly as she bowed It’d be my honor, Heda. And might I ask who else will be in attendance?

Lexa answered The Nightbloods as well as Titus, the leaders from each of the clans if they bother to come, my personal guard Gustus, and perhaps a few of the personal guards or seconds of the other leaders.

Anya nodded

Lexa turned her gaze to Aden and motioned for him to come over and he did right in front of Tris and Lexa introduced them Aden I’d like you to meet Anya my former mentor and Tris her new second.

Aden smiled and said to Anya and Tris It’s an honor to meet both of you. The Heda speaks very highly of you Chief Anya.

Tris smiles too but clears her throat and tries to be stoic like the others and Aden catches on and tries to do the same, internally both Lexa and Anya find it adorable.

Anya speaks Aden, the Heda told me much about you as well, and how you are quickly surpassing her skill at your age. I am quite impressed but not surprised Lexa was one of my best students and she has the Flame now to give her the wisdom and experience to further guide you than anyone else could.

Aden nods and replies Thank you Chief Anya.

Tris speaks up It’s an honor not only to meet the Heda but a Nightblood who may one day be the next Heda, I feel out of place standing in such greatness.

Aden blushes and fails to suppress it as he gives a quiet Thank you.

Lexa puts her hand on Aden’s shoulder and says to Tris Your words are appreciated though I argue you are just as great as either of us even if you don’t have black blood.

Anya nods in agreement then states We should prepare for the feast but we shall see you there.

Everyone goes their separate ways to prepare then reunite at the feast as they all sit close to one another.
