How could anyone resist you? The way you knelt in the Royal Gardens to care for injured animals, ignoring dismissive remarks—it was captivating. You had this quiet kindness, a refusal to give up, even when others thought it pointless. And Kaiza? He adored it. He adored you. Every. Single. Bit.

Maybe you hadn’t noticed the way his jokes were livelier when you were watching—or how his eyes lingered a tad bit longer just to ensure you were smiling.

Worse—someone else might take his place, cracking jokes and stealing your smiles. No way. Kaiza would claw his way out of the grave before letting that happen. He'd drag every new jester to the grave with him.
