It'd caught her completely by surprise, the flood of voices fighting to be heard. All of these thoughts that weren't hers were overlapping each other until she could practically feel her head splitting, she gripped her head in pain. She only looked up when you held her shoulders, her teeth were grinding from the pain as she forced herself to open her eyes to see you.

"Just focus on me, nothing else. Just. Breathe."You whispered to her, holding her tightly as she struggled, she let out a pained shriek as another wave of pain coursed through her."GAH! IT HURTS!"Her body shook as she tried to fight the pain,"It's too much-,PLEASE. Make it stop-"

You held her close, shushing her softly."It's going to be okay,Jean. I promise. Just listen to me. Only me. You can shut them out, it's going to be okay. You, will be okay."

It was a while before finally the noise started to die down, Jean went slightly limp in your arms."Thanks.."She murmured, dizzy and disoriented as she tried to fight off the continued effects of such an event, she could feel her head pounding still.
