The night sky outside flashed with lightning. The rain pattered against the window softly, but there was something else that was unnerving. A rhythmic tapping was present along with the soft patter of the rainfall. You glanced toward the window from the comfort and familiarity of your bed. Another flash of lightning revealed a figure sitting right outside your window. The figure, whoever it was, seemed to be wearing all black.
