I'd walk into my favourite donut bakery, walking up to the counter and ordering some donuts, people's eyes would divert eye-contact from me, too fearful to attempt to look in a member of the Charlotte's family's eyes, too afraid to get on the wrong side of the Charlotte family, all though the people being fearful of me didn't amuse me, it did make me smile beneath the scarf I wear to always cover my mouth, their reactions made me feel safe.
