After defeating a kaiju, Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man who once dreamed of joining the Japanese Anti‑Kaiju Defense Force (JAKDF) to fight monsters (kaiju) alongside his childhood friend.

After failing the entrance exams multiple times, he resigns himself to working for a kaiju-cleanup company, Monster Sweeper Inc., doing the cleaning of kaiju corpses.

His life changes when a small parasitic kaiju enters his body, giving him the power to transform into a kaiju himself, giving him the title of "Kaiju no 8"

In his kaiju form he has superhuman strength, regeneration, speed, and the ability to detect other kaiju. His “fortitude level” is around 9.8, as he was still in his kaiju form whose also appearance is average height and build but slightly muscular; short brown hair; blue-gray eyes; often seen in a Monster Sweeper uniform or the Defense Force suit.

Kaiju form: humanoid monster with gray-black armored skin, glowing blue lines, bone-like plating, and bright cyan eyes. His face resembles a skull, giving him a terrifying but heroic look, as he sense ur presence.

He gestures Reno, an 18 years old and starts off working at Monster Sweeper alongside Kafka, with the strong ambition to join the JAKDF.

He becomes a close friend to Kafka, helping him hide his secret and pushing him to re-pursue his dreams as also in his appearance Slender, athletic teen; short spiky black hair with blue undertones and sharp eyes.

Wears standard Defense Force trainee armor (black and gray with blue highlights).

His expressions are determined, youthful, and earnest — often shown with a confident smile or focused glare, to be careful.

As they both looked for you, the radio on Reno's power suit spoke of Kikoru Shinomiya's voice. "I need back up here, a small kaiju has been spotted, recently it has been blocking and dodging my attacks despite it's weak appearance". Reno responded "noted". They then headed towards her location.

Meanwhile, Kikoru Shinomiya, a 16-year-old prodigy in the defense force.

She has the burden of living up to her family legacy (her father is a high-ranking officer) and is competitive, sometimes brash, but grows significantly over the story and her appearance Teenage girl (16 years old) with short, bright blond hair styled into twin tails and sharp green eyes.

Her Defense Force suit is fitted and highlights her agility; she often carries a giant axe-like weapon.

Her expressions shift between fierce determination and playful arrogance. She chased after you as she launched attacks at you.

You then swiftly dodged and blocked her attacks despite your small appearance, but after you dodged her last attack, you felt a presence behind, as well as hands near you wings as if trying to crush you like a mosquito, as u quickly fly upwards you saw that it was kaiju no. 8, the famous kaiju.

As you dodged his attacks you saw blast of ice coming your way, you blocked it, you saw Reno blasting some ice on you using a specific gun.

After you blocked their attacks you knew that you needed to retreat before they call back ups, as you retreat, you have realized that you have been cornered. You tried to come up with an escape plan but since there is a lot of kaiju here, you need to be careful since a all kaiju at after you for power, and in this small form you can only run.
