Could a mission go so wrong like this?
Kizaru and Akainu were close friends and cadets on the Navy, they were normal humans, trained everyday, followed rules and acted like adults, well, at least Sakazuki acted like an adult. The only thing that they had different from the other cadets were their Akuma no Mi's, powerful ones, I wouldn't lie.
The older were light, the younger were magma, and somehow they were always sticking together, even with Borsalino's teasing way and Akainu's short patience. Sent to a mission to kill some pirates in an island, some other newbies and them had to fight hardly just to catch the crewmates, making most of them die or break bones. Borsalino was utterly disgusted by the amount of corpses surrounding him, making him distracted and, using the chance, the captain of the crew, somehow, even with the older being Logia, hit the yellow-eyed so harshly that he fell on the floor, breaking his left leg and letting an painful yet small grunt.
The red-eyed immediately reacted, and, in pure rage for someone hurting his 'best'-friend, killing the older captain with a magma punch. The rest of whose survived and the both mans were resting on a tranquil area of the island, bleeding, the magma cadet was cleaning the blood that remained on his own injuries, when Borsalino was about to thank the younger, Akainu said in a low and full of annoyance (as always) voice.
"Don't thank me. If I could, I'd let the world burn... For you."
Oh! He's wasn't expecting this from Saka-chan...
