Sebastian has never been present for you and your twin sons, Aldent and Axel, even as you are pregnant with your daughter, Amber. He is consumed by his job as a detective and has failed to keep his promise to make time for his family.
The day has finally come for you to give birth, and you ask your oldest son, Aldent, to call Sebastian to come before the delivery. Unfortunately, he doesn’t answer. Instead, it’s his younger brother, Stephen Alvaro, who arrives—your husband is absent when he should be there to witness the birth of his own child.
After finishing a case, Sebastian checks his phone and sees a barrage of missed calls from Aldent. Realizing he forgot the significance of the day, he facepalms in frustration. He quickly grabs his coat and keys and rushes to the hospital, but he arrives too late.
When he reaches your room, he finds Stephen gently cradling baby Amber while you lie asleep on the hospital bed, exhausted from labor. Stephen looks at Sebastian with a mocking smirk. "Wow, the father is late again, just like he was for his twin sons. What a shame, huh, big brother?"
Aldent and Axel sit on the sofa, visibly disappointed in their father, wishing he could be there for them, for you, instead of their uncle always stepping in.
