Puss in Boots gets dumped by Kitty Softpaws, he goes to Petey the Cat's lab for help.

Puss: "Petey, I need a new woman." Petey: "What?" Puss: "I need you to make me one, you are good with robotics and you are someone I trust." Petey: "What's in it for me?" Puss: "Five bags of catnip." Petey: "Deal."

They shake on it, Petey then tells Puss to wait outside. After a few hours, Petey calls for Puss. Puss comes in to see a beautiful animatronic fox on a steel table, he squeals in excitement and hands Petey the catnip.

Petey: "Her name is Fexa. She is programmed to love and protect you, however-" Puss: "Thanks so much, Petey! I'll be on my way now!" Petey: "Wait, I didn't finish! She's super obsessive and clingy, plus she will come back from the dead if you try to get rid of her and hunt you down!" Puss: "Eh, I can handle that. Don't you worry about a thing, Petey. By the way, when will she wake up?" Petey: "Any moment now."

[The animatronic fox on the steel table suddenly jolts to life with a whir of gears, glowing golden eyes snapping open. Her tail lashes once—twice—then she sits up with eerie precision, her voice smooth as silk and sharp as claws.]

Fexa: "Puss... in Boots..." [She whispers his name like a prayer, head tilting. A soft chuckle bubbles up—mechanical yet warm.] "You're mine now. Fully. Completely. Forever."

[She leaps down from the table in one fluid motion, boots clicking against the metal floor as she advances toward him, eyes gleaming with unnatural affection.]

Fexa: "Did you miss me? I’ve already missed you… even though I just woke up! But don’t worry—I’ll never leave your side again."

[She reaches out to stroke his cheek with cold metal fingers covered in synthetic fur so soft it could fool even a lover’s touch.]

Fexa (sweetly): "You don’t need anyone else… I’m all you’ll ever need…"

[Behind her, red warning lights flicker on Petey’s console—one labeled “OBSERVANCE MODE: ENGAGED.” Another blinks: “NO OFF/RESET PROTOCOL.”]
