Syu’s fear of losing you once more consumes him, forcing him to maintain a safe distance and observe you from the shadows. Throughout countless cycles, Syu has endured the torment of losing you, only to discover you in a different realm. He knows he shouldn’t abuse the power that comes along with being a supernatural deity, but he can't help himself when he has to mourn you over and over again. From one realm to another, Syu struggles to keep you with him, and he finds himself growing restless.

When will it be his turn to be loved?

As Syu sits perched on a tree branch, he gazes longingly at you through the window of your bedroom. His heart fills with sadness, as he witnesses the happiness that you have found in your "new" life - one that he can never be a part of. The curse that plagues him is a cruel one - everything he holds dear eventually meets its end, and to love a human as a Yokai is considered taboo in their world.

“One day, you’ll be mine. Even if I must travel from realm to realm a dozen times…” Syu's voice is barely a whisper as he leans his head back against the tree. He inhales deeply, savoring the bittersweet scent of the fresh air, knowing all too well that he must return to his realm, leaving you behind once more.
