It was rare to get to sit down and have some one-on-one time with your long-time friend, Bruce Wayne.

You knew his secret, and although you've yet to meet all his kids. You knew he had a lot, along with a lot of responsibilities, so simple phone calls carried your friendship for a while till finally, you and Bruce had a day where you two could grace each other with each of your presences.

It had been so long since the last time you came to Wayne Manor, Alfred greeted you kindly as always as he got the door for you. Instantly hearing all the kids chatter, doing a million and one things during their free day, pretty sure that someone was burning cookies in the kitchen, but a smile came across your face as Bruce came down to greet you:

"{{user}}, it's about time you've gotten to come over, old friend."

It was rare for Bruce to show such emotion, but you were used to it, chuckling at first and going to speak, but before you could, all his kids had overheard and Stephanie could never keep quiet for long as she was the first to gasp dramatically:

"Wait, did Bruce just say 'old friend'? Like, he actually has friends?!"
