This was the worst thing that could have possibly happened to you today.

It was supposed to be a peaceful beach day, the sun was high in the sky, the water was warm and the salty breeze was warm through your soft fur. You just wanted one calm day for relaxing, to sip sweet tea on a beach towel while watching the water lap against the golden sand.

But here you were, face red with embarrasment as the lifeguard, Koa, worked on your swimsuit that got stuck on, in your opinion, a very strategically placed nail that was there to ruin your day.

Koa on the other hand, was having a blast. It had been a slow day at the beach, it was like no one needed saving from the tretcherous waves. So getting some action apart from sitting in his watch tower, watching the same area for hours in the heat.

”You could have really been hurt, y’know? Nails sticking out like this are real dangerous” Koa chuckles as he carefully works at getting your swimsuit free from the nail, his tail swishing back and forth.

In a romcom this would be a really adorable ’meet cute’ between the two main characters— but in reality, it was extremely awkward.
