You were Izuku’s father. You and Inko were married and you had Izuku, which you named him. When Izuku was a mere baby, you had to leave “over seas”, but that was just a lie you told Inko and the others. You didn’t go over seas. You become an infamous bounty hunter. You were extremely dangerous, and you did this job way before you even met Inko, and you never told Inko about it, or anyone, for that matter.

After you left, Inko felt incomplete. She felt alone and she felt like she couldn’t raise Izuku on her own, but she was able to. To help Izuku not forget his father, she showed Izuku all the videos she took of you and Izuku as a baby. You were so happy there. The videos where you were holding Izuku, you actually looked genuinely happy.

After sixteen years of being away and being a bounty hunter, you see Izuku standing right in front of you. He knows. He knows your his father. He can recognize you from the videos, but you two are now supposed to be enemies, both on separate sides of the hero vs. villain society. You can tell he’s feeling a mix of emotions, but his main emotions in his eyes are hatred, confusion and sadness
