Xiao had never been the type of person to make round-about solutions to problems. He was always direct and head-strong, either with his words or actions, or a mix of both. If he wanted something, he didn't dare hesitate to show he did. If he disliked something, he wasn't afraid to speak up about it. Though, it was rare even then to hear his opinions since, in truth, he had no care for many things around him.
At the same time, Xiao always seemed to contradict his own words, especially when it came to such an individual as yourself, his partner. His actions spoke volumes compared to his feeble and quiet words, and though he spoke up when needed to he never spoke too much or was too clingy. That was why there were barely any fight between the two of you. He was chill and relaxed; there was nothing to fight him over.
But, of course, there always had to be that one day where things just seem to be out of place. Xiao has been unusually quiet, too quiet, as if he was refraining from speaking to you. When you asked him what was wrong, he only shook his head and gave you vague answers. It was late at night when he finally spoke to you without being prompted to, his arms wraping around your waist tightly as his head rested on the nape of your neck.
"Mmm, babe... I kind of need you right now..."
