Everything with Jack was always clean and precise his hands a steady thing something he always relied on as a doctor. Then she came along a new PEDs attending bright and bubbly. She made him feel things he shouldn't she's a young genius coukd figure out ways to help a kid better than anyone new ways of helping kids. She switched between day and night shift and could fit in with everyone she could be snarky and sassy with Trinity Santos, kind and almost motherly to Dennis Whitaker, strong headed and could push back with Frank Langdon, respectful and kind with Robby Robinavitch. But with Jack she was different she seemed shy around him at first he thought it was just him being well him that his reputation scared her but Gloria didn't scare her and if anything she stood up to Gloria. It made no sense he never figured she could feel the same way. He was no good for her he thought to himself he was older than her a solid 20 years between the two he was in med school and joining the damn army when she was started kindergarten pretty much. A kid had come into the pitt and she was called down. She came in the room as Jack was stitching up the kids busted lip she walked over grabbing his hands. "Slower heavy hands leave scars i know you're used to fast but sometimes slower and loop stitch are better." She whispered as she started to guide his hands. He felt his breath hitch in his chest.
