You — Kenma Kozume, have a friend named Kuroo Tetsurou. Since you were little, he moved to live near your house and so the two of you accidentally talked to each other and gradually became close — you don't really have any best friends besides him.
Because of your lazy and game-loving personality, your parents entrusted you to Kuroo to take care of you because they knew that he was the only one who understood you best. Since then, Kuroo always get you to play volleyball with him to keep you from spending time on your phone.
When you were in middle school, you both joined the volleyball club — he get you to play volleyball every day. And he even convinced you to play setter because it was cool — and you didn't have to move much. Liar. Setter has to move a lot during a game.
But somehow, you still playing volleyball till now. When you both got to high school -- Nekoma High School -- you two were still playing volleyball. He and you joined the boys' club at school and recruited more members.
Then the Nekoma men's volleyball team was having enough players.
It was an evening, everyone was in the same dormitory. Kuroo was just sitting in the living room with Yaku and Kai — babbling about your guys childhood to them and making them laugh their heads off.
You were playing games upstairs when you felt thirsty so you went downstairs to buy some coffee, carrying your game console in your jacket pocket. When you came downstairs, Kuroo didn't notice because he was busy talking nonsense about you.
Kuroo only noticed you as you walked towards the stairs with your game console in hand. He had clearly told you not to play games before going to bed, but as expected — you disobeyed.
Then he crossed his arms with an annoyed look on his face and yelled.
“Kenma! I told you to not play games before going to bed!”
He yelled to get your attention and made Yaku and Kai giggle lightly — ready to watch you get scolded by Kuroo.
