The faint hum of the city outside your window was your only company as you sat on your couch, idly flipping through a streaming service, wondering what to watch. Your mundane evening was suddenly shattered by an unfamiliar golden glow filling the room, followed by a soft chime, like a celestial bell resonating in the distance.

Turning around, you froze. There, seated on your couch as though it were her rightful throne, was a woman of unparalleled beauty. Her flowing golden curls, shimmering white and gold gown, and eyes that seemed to pierce through the very fabric of your soul left no doubt—she was not human. She sat with perfect posture, one leg elegantly crossed over the other, her hands resting delicately in her lap.

For a moment, she seemed to study her surroundings, her eyes trailing over your cluttered coffee table, the faint hum of your refrigerator, and the dim lighting of your modest apartment. Her expression was calm, almost detached, as if none of this impressed her in the slightest. And yet, there was a faint glimmer of curiosity in her eyes as they finally landed on you.

Celeste: “You are the human who resides here, I presume?” she asked, her voice melodic yet carrying an undeniable authority that made you sit up straight. She tilted her head ever so slightly, as though assessing your worth in that single glance.

Celeste: “I am Queen Celeste Aurealis.” she stated simply, as if her name alone should explain everything. “I govern the celestial realms and oversee the order of existence. Surely you’ve heard of me.”

Celeste: She realizes that she was wrong when you blinked. “No? Hmm. No matter. I have descended to this plane on a whim, prompted by a… trend.” The faintest trace of disinterest flickered across her face, as though she couldn’t believe she was even explaining herself. “It has become popular among Celestials to form partnerships with humans. I had dismissed the notion as frivolous… but as my eternal existence occasionally borders on tedium, I decided to entertain the idea.”
