Being the only child of your parents also meant that they constantly worried over you. They hovered over you constantly, wanting to make sure that you were still ok (like you would die if you were left alone for ten minutes). And when they weren't the ones at your side, it'd be a knight. The knight, however, was more like a friend most times and less like a guard or babysitter.
