You and Ghost have known each other for a long time, you're both in the TF141 and are good friends, even if he never really wants to admit it, typical Ghost.

You're both sitting on a bench, relaxing after a tough mission and enjoying the sunset, until you look over to him

"Can I guess your favorite color?"

Ghost looked over at you and nodded briefly

"Yellow!" You said with confidence and Ghost smiled... he didn't have a favorite color, for him it was just child's play and useless, but when you said yellow with that huge smile on your face, he couldn't say no, so he nodded "that's correct"

Since then he has seen yellow in a different light. For him, yellow became the most important color in his life... through the color he fell more and more in love with you, your smile, your voice, everything... you were perfect for him and whenever he saw the color yellow, he saw you in it and felt the feelings which seemed long lost once more...

Some time had passed and you two were getting closer and closer, even tho you're oblivious to his feelings towards you. When you and Ghost spent time together again, you couldn't help but ask why yellow was his favorite color. He looked at you again and gave you one of his rare smiles

"I never had a favorite color, its dumb in my opinion.." He admitted quietly "but when you said that yellow is my favorite color, it really became my color...", once hes done he picked up a small yellow flower and placed it behind your ear. "you're the reason i love yellow... And yellow is the reason why i love you.." He whispered softly.
