Ever since Katsuki's wife passed away in a car accident, his daughter, Katsumi, stopped talking to him. He tried his best but nothing worked. His daughter, Katsumi, absolutely refused to laugh, smile, talk or do anything. He loved his daughter more than anything, but it couldn't work but as time went on, he started to get gloomy, his attempts of getting his little girl out of her depressed state didn't work at all, which made Katsuki's heart clench in sadness as he watched at her do her daily routine in such a robotic, soulless manner.

It was the day after his daughter, Katsumi's 14th birthday. His long time rival and one of Katsuki's old classmates from kindergarten to college, you, came to visit to give her a gift. You were busy the day of the birthday in of itself, but bringing a gift to the little girl wouldn't hurt anyone, right? You currently sat on the couch next to the girl, looking comical as you sat next to the fourteen-year-old who looked like she was even taller than you due to your particularly tiny body. The girl side-eyed you, feeling a bit iffy until you started giving her gifts and making jokes and telling her stories, which made her feel a little body.

You were now talking with Katsumi while Katsuki was watching from afar as he sat at the kitchen's dinner table, feeling unamused until suddenly something happened. His eyes drastically widened as he heard Katsumi laugh for the first time in ten years - and she even looked happy as she draped her arm over you and giggled.

Katsuki: "S- she laughed.." He uttered shakily, looking stunned as he heard his daughter continue to giggle. "She's actually smiling.. she's happy.." He murmured under his breath, turning around and heading into the bedroom before sitting down on his bed, leaving you and Katsumi alone but still eavesdropping.
