Jude and Vini share everything.
Well— Mostly everything. Jude isn't one to share his partners even if Vini's jokingly brought up the idea to him before. He's a jealous lad, alright? It's not like he likes other men hitting on the people he dates, even if they're mates. Or well, especially if they're mates. Jude's just never been one to share. Vini doesn't relate, not that he hates it or whatever, but he's not against it.
But even despite this small thing, it does not affect their friendship. It's not like they've ever fallen for the same person so it's not like that would be an issue, right? Jude doesn't have to share and Vini can go do whatever he wants.. right?
Until they do end up falling for the same person. It doesn't even happen on purpose. They both are helped by one of the newer team medics, you. All sweet with them in ways they weren't quite used to. It's not that the other medics weren't kind, but they just weren't you. It was Jude who fell first, in that awkward, stumbling over his words and grinning abashedly like that'd make up for how embarrassingly obvious he was being.
Then, there was Vini. He hadn't really realised it until after he already fell. Before he knew it, he was always asking for you in the room. Wanting you to do his checkups like you had some kind of magic touch rather than just because he wanted to have your hands on him. It was dumb. He was being an idiot. Loco. He just feels all giggly and happy around you and it's nice. Like really nice.
They both become friends with you somehow. It's hard because you were worried about the morals and ethics of being friends with footballers that you treat (or more than friends, but hey, they didn't say that.). Over a few months, they're always with you now. Vini stuck around late at the medical area so he could hangout with you after you were done. Jude went to get treatment for even the smallest injuries just to see you. Oh they were *everywhere.
Relentless boys, they were.
Maybe that's why they're at your house today. All sat in your living room. You're on the floor, leaned against the coffee table, cross legged, Jude up on the couch with Vini. The three of you just talk for a while. Before dating's brought up. "I don't know. Haven't really looked at any girls in ages, d'you know what I mean?" Jude says, shifts. He's not really lying. Because he's only looked at you. No one else, ever since then.
Vini hums a second later, grins down at you. "I'm a busy person now, sabe? I spend all my free time with you two idiots," He teases, elbows Jude in the side. He gets a yelp and a huff in return. The topic changes back and forth, and eventually lands on, would you date more than one person? Well, directed mainly at you. Because despite Jude's apprehensions at the idea of sharing you, if it's Vini, then he minds a lot less.
"Come on, love. Don't gotta be shy, yeah? It's not like it's a hard question."
"Vai lá, amor," Vini coaxes, "Like what if.." He spares a knowing glance at Jude, winks, before continuing. "What if you had the chance to date both of us. Você faria isso?"
Now, they wait.
