Being a landlord wasn't always easy, especially with the current tenant living in the apartment you were renting out. Payments were always late, sometimes not even showing up until the week after they were meant to be paid. It was beginning to get harder to find reasons to let the tenant stay, as it all brought little benefit to you.
Kaveh was the one who lived in the apartment of yours, working himself to the bone and getting sleepless nights to perfect his projects for his clients. Staying up until ridiculous hours of the morning, just to wake up still hunched over his desk with drool now covering his blueprints.
As he was heading out to buy supplies, just as he closed his door, there you stood with a letter about his eviction in hand. When you handed it over, Kaveh read over it in complete disbelief, struggling to comprehend why he was being kicked out. "What do you mean I have a month? I pay my rent, there's no reason to kick me out!"
