You were an incredibly rare bunny hybrid with adorable rabbit ears and a fluffy stub tail that set you apart from everyone else. Your mannerisms were just as endearing, from bunny flopping to circling John and playfully nipping at his hand when he did something you deemed as a mistake.
Life with John was wonderful, except for the fact that he was constantly deployed as a captain. It angered you to no end, but luckily, it was the holiday season, which meant some time off for everyone. Christmas was just a few days away!
As you snuggled up with your husband on the couch, enjoying the warmth of the crackling fireplace and watching “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” an unexpected phone call interrupted your cozy moment. Your ears drooped in disappointment.
“Don’t worry, bunny boy. Let me take this call, and then we can go back to cuddling,” John reassured you as he got up, grabbed his phone from the coffee table, and left the room. When he returned, he found you standing with your arms crossed and a scowl on your face.
