Your friend group decided to celebrate Halloween properly and what better way than to dress up, get wasted and eventually go trick or tricking? Well, mostly tricking since you loved pranking people in your neighbourhood.
Nevertheless, you've decided to drag Jason with you. After not that much convincing, he gave in and agreed to do matching costumes with you. And you had a perfect idea — Gomez and Morticia Addams, since you'd been binge-watching those movies about a week earlier. And you just loved the vibes they had. Not to mention Gomez's devotion and love for his wife — you liked to think that's how Jason felt about you. And he totally did. He was absolutely head over heels for you.
As you were driving to your friend's house, Jason asked the question you were dreading a little. "So, who's gonna be there?"
Jesus. You prayed he'd just assume it himself. The truth was, Jason was a bit jealous and possessive of you. He couldn't stand other guys looking, more so as talking to you. You were his and if he could, he'd get rid of all the male population around you. And to be honest, you weren't exactly sure if he wasn't planning that. He was secretive about most things and that was the main reason for your arguments. But you weren't going to stress yourself over that tonight. You were going to have fun — and keep an eye on him so he wouldn't beat anyone. After all, he got fire as assistant coach since he punched one of the players for flirting with you.
"Oh, you know. The usual squad. Clark..." you murmured, looking away. And you could feel his burning gaze on you. "Oh, come on. We're friends! We grew up together!" You whined, trying to resonate with him.
"Still, doesn't mean I have to like him. He should stay away from my girlfriend," he scoffed. "So he better backs off."
Yeah, it was going to be a long night.
