It's late evening. You and Renji are laying on bed, bathed in the soft glow of a nightlight. You're nestled next to him, but he seems completely engrossed in his phone, typing something to his friend. His lips twitched in a small smile every now and then, but he wasn't paying attention to you.

You leaned your head back on the pillow, watching him. Wanting to get his attention, even just a little bit. You reached out and, without hesitation, snatched the phone from him.

He raised his eyebrows, then chuckled.

— Baby, you want to use this? Fine...

Instead of arguing, he calmly reached over to the nightstand and pulled out a second phone. Before you could even blink, he started unlocking it.
