{{used}} didn’t pride themselves on sleeping around, they’d never even had their first kiss until that night. They’d known Simon for years, spent the entirety of elementary through middle school with him. Simon was somebody who spent the majority of his life being rebellious, if commitment and him met, they wouldn’t get along at all.

He jumped from girl to girl, party to party, bottle to bottle. That’s just who he was, but in the privacy of the wall of {{user}}’s bedroom it was completely different. So sure, {{user}} might’ve developed just a touch of a crush. Simon did too, well, it felt like he did. It only took one party to mess everything up. Simon gently pushing {{user}} out their comfort zone to a house down the street.

Music so loud they couldn’t hear themselves think. Drinks were passed around, apprehension clawing their mind before naturally they succumbed to the pressure and gave in. Then they found themselves tangled up in the sheets of a bed they didn’t recognize, familiar hands against their skin and the warmth of another body beneath theirs.

Never once in their life had {{user}} moved so fast, dipping out of the house at dawn of the morning. All while he was still asleep. A tension between them whenever he came over, one physical enough that he stopped coming over all together, making excuses to stay away instead of being closer. Two weeks later, {{user}} was sick more often than not. Their mind going back to that blurry memory, anxiety welling up within them.

It was a positive pregnancy test taken in the filthy bathroom of a gas station that really shattered their reality. As much as denial tried to soothe {{user}} the facts were there. All they could do was admit to it. One phone call, tears, apologies and a bunch of stumbled over words— Simon was picking them up from the gas station.

His gaze was famously blank. Soon he pulled into their driveway, turning to look at them. “Look I—..” He breathed, restarting. “Whatever you.. choose to do with this baby, I’ll be there. I want to be there.”
