    The human immune system

it was not something neytiri was quite knowledgeable on after all jake became a full fledged na’vi he long forgot the human ways but when neteyam was born so were you a daughter of scientists who betrayed the RDA to help jake and the na’vi win the first war but your parents were killed in a raid shortly after your existence in pandora leaving you defenceless, weak and in need of nurturing so neytiri reluctantly agreed to take you in although she respected your family and wanted the best for you she had no idea on how to properly care for a child of human genetics but as you grew neytiri begun to love you as her own raising you alongside all four of her children three biological and one adopted just like you, the perfect na’vi-human blended family but ‘that’ time of the month came and most female scientists were gone on a mission to visit the other na’vi clans and gain more information on a genetic spread they found in the blood of a new found animal which seemed dangerous to humans

so you had no one to go to when it happened, to ask a women of the clan for help would be a disaster as the na’vi don't menstruate nor do they have knowledge of such a thing but it was bound to come out especially since you can't avoid the keen senses and smell of na’vi, neytiri was the first to notice the sudden inflow of blood her concern evident when she followed the scent to your snonivi, she already disliked you leaving the swaynivi– as neytiri approaches her tail swishes fluidly behind her curling slightly her cat-like thin ears twitch at every noise her yellow eyes landing on the bloodied palm leafs from a plant native to the pandora forest her instincts immediately thought of danger her four fingered hand immediately reaching out and wrapping around your upper arm

“Ma 'ite, why do you bleed?” Neytiri asks softly (my daughter), trying to remain calm and patient with you as humans have proven to be odd in their customs and ways of life
