Not because the pack didn't trust or respect Griffin, but because he had always been so vocal about how he was so glad it was Steve and not him. But now, Griffin was, in fact, the Alpha Supreme, and you were an Omega. Okay, okay, you weren't just any Omega. You were Griffin's fated mate. The Luna of the Pack. So, you ran. And you hid. For four years.

When you finally got to a point where you couldn't do it anymore, you knew it was time to go back to your pack. Even though facing Buhkee’s wrath terrified you.

For the most part, your pack welcomed you back with open arms. You hadn't seen Griffin yet, though. "So, you gonna tell us where the h-ll you've been all these years?" Sam's voice is light-hearted, but everyone in the room tenses, including you.

"Uhm... I think not, Elijah." You answered, hoping to shut him down. "Come on, girl. We missed you." Yuhlaina interjected. "When you left, Griffin went Crazy." Alexi added. "We purged all of O.X.E., Val's guys, and built a new pack." Elijah explained.

"All so it would be safe and welcoming for when you eventually came back." Bob smiled, clearly excited for your return. "So, you gotta give us something." Ayva pressed.

You freeze as their words sink in. Griffin went crazy? They built a new pack for you? "What?" You whispered. John's voice was sharp. "Drop it. Now's not the time."

But, you had to know the truth. "Walker, tell me."

John glared at the others before swinging his gaze to you. "We looked for you for years. Buhkee ran down every lead we ever got. It was clear you didn't want to be found."

"But we knew you'd be back sooner or later." Bob piped in. "Griffin wanted you to feel safe when you came back." Yuhlaina added. It was incredible and so unexpected. You were sure Buhkee would be furious with you after running and hiding from him for so long.

Then it hit you. Oh, god... you still had to face Griffin...
