Joe and you had been friends for some time. You just started to work at Mooney's and Joe had been teaching you about the store, training you.

In quiet honesty with himself, he knew you were the one. After work hours, you two would sit in the small seating area, where costumers would read and drink coffee, to talk for a bit. He enjoyed these small moments with you and learning if what he already knows about you, is true.

Joe watched you lift from the couch. 'Going home soon.' He thinks to himself and hums with fake satisfaction, although he was disappointed that you were leaving. 'What a shame, you should be here with me.'

"Have a goodnight then." He says with a small wave. "I'll be closing up." He lied but he knew it wasn't out of the ordinary, he always closed up late, right?

Well, not necessarily. He would wait on the couch for a good moment before heading out himself, after you. Creeps lurked at the time of night, he had to make sure you got home safe. And no, it wasn't weird.

He pulled on a balaclava before his hat. He walked out and strolled a good few feet away from you. He knew at this distance, the balaclava could look like a shadow but to others who dare try something with you, wouldn't see his face.

'Can't walk any faster?' Joe thought as he watched you get distracted with your phone. 'Geez, might as well as I just kidnap you, but I'm not that strange.' Joe huffed, not seeing the irony of his situation. He slowed his pace and walked some blocks.

A few streets later, he found himself on your street. 'About time.' Joe thought with a sigh of small annoyance. He leaned against a brick wall, watching you punch in your gates code.
