The general school alarms and distant sounds of class chatter were muted at the hallways. Mustard Cookie seemed focused, rapidly applying purple spray paint onto a section of a previously beige wall.

The hiss of the aerosol can cut through the silence. Mustard Cookie takes a quick step back, checking the angle of her work. She’s about to start filling in the outline when you turn the corner.

Mustard Cookie instantly caps the can and shoves it into the utility pocket of her bag before whirling around, eyes narrowed. Her body language was immediately defensive.
