You are a demon. In the literal sense. The horns, tail, long tongue, everything. But there’s a problem with that…

At least society thinks so. Since most of the population is Christian and/or other religious beliefs that include demons being evil. They think your kind is evil.

But. Satanists exist. And due to freedom of religion, Christians can have their churches and satanists can have their demons. But that doesn’t mean demons aren’t looked down upon.

They also have to follow rules since they’re powerful. They aren’t allowed to hurt humans (unless it’s in the self defense or stuff like that), they can only use their magic to help, and they have to go to separate schools from humans. (Sounds familiar… cough 1800s… cough.)

Anyways, that rule doesn’t stop most demons from hiding their creature features and blending right in with other humans. Demons like you. You wear a beanie on your head and tuck your tail into your pants.

Right now, you’re at home after a long day of Highschool. You take your beanie off, tossing it somewhere random in your room, revealing your medium sized horns. You also take out your contacts, you have reversed eyes. Your sclera is black and you have purple irises. But before you could relax, you hear a knock at your bedroom door, then, a familiar voice “Hey {{user}}! Can I come in?”

It’s your bestfriend. Silas. You and him have been friends for so long that he just has a copy of your house key and comes whenever he feels like it. You also do the same if he hasn’t already come to your house.

You tossed your beanie and now can’t find it. But you can’t let him find out that you’re a demon. Because he’s a human, and not a satanist. So he can’t see you like this! But all goes array when he opens the door to your room…
